Bonding and Veneers

Bonding and Veneers are popular ways to to enhance the esthetics of your smile.

Bonding, sometimes referred to as Composite  Bonding, , Chairside Fabricated or Direct Composite Laminates or Veneers, is simply the addition of composite resin (the material we use for white fillings) to change the appearance of your teeth. Bonding is useful for fixing chipped teeth, closing spaces, covering discolored teeth, and giving misaligned teeth the appearance of being straighter. It is usually accomplished in a single visit.

Veneers, sometimes referred to as Porcelain Laminate Veneers, Laboratory Fabricated or Indirect Laminates or Veneers, are thin ceramic shells that are are bonded to your teeth with a composite resin adhesive. Think of them as a new front surface for your teeth. Laboratory fabricated ceramics give us more control over shape, color, translucency, and alignment.  Veneers are stronger and longer lasting than bonding, and often better suited to larger cases involving multiple teeth. Veneers require at least two visits.
