Dr. Viktoriya Bihary
Dr. Bihary earned her D.D.S. from State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, one of America's top 10 Dental Schools. She continued her education with an optional year of advanced training in all phases of dentistry for both typical and special needs patients as Dental General Practice Resident at St. Charles Hospital and Rehabilitation Center in Port Jefferson. Prior to attending Dental School she was an Honors College Associate at Hofstra University, majoring in Biology with a Chemistry minor and graduating with a Bachelor of Science, Cum Laude in 2012.
Born in Ukraine, Dr. Bihary is multilingual; fluent in Ukrainian and Russian, as well as in English. Her family moved to Long Island's south shore when she was 10 and she grew up in Hewlett. She moved to Port Jefferson to attend the residency program at St. Charles Hospital and fell in love with the area. She's participated in local community outreach programs such as Give Kids a Smile, and Dentistry Smiles on Veterans. In her spare time, Dr. Bihary enjoys the outdoors and getting together with friends and loved ones.
Dr. Bihary takes pride in being a compassionate dentist sensitive to her patient's needs. Getting to know people so she can provide the personalized, high quality, comfortable dental care she is committed to. Dr. Bihary and Dr. Wiener found each other via faculty members of the program at St. Charles that know them both. She is much beloved there and comes highly recommended, and has in fact herself joined the faculty since completing her residency. Dr. Bihary is a dedicated professional who continues to expand her knowledge and refine her skills through continuing education and is a frequent participant in various courses, dental meetings, and conventions. She is a member of the Suffolk Country Dental Society, New York Dental Association, and American Dental Association.
